RELATIONSHIP CHECK-IN

Check in before small things become background noise.

A relationship check-in is simply protected time to compare how life feels, what is working and what needs attention. It should make communication easier, not feel like a performance review.

CHECK-IN PROMPT

Pick one place to start

Choose a question, listen first and resist trying to solve everything at once.

What felt easiest between us this week?

Nothing entered here is stored or sent anywhere.

Weekly reportRecent shared patterns can give you something concrete to talk about without pretending to diagnose the relationship.
QuestsA useful conversation can turn into a small shared action rather than another good intention.
TonightWhen the answer is simply ‘we need time together’, suggestions can help turn that into a plan.

A useful check-in has a beginning and an end

Start with something that went well. Move to one or two areas that deserve attention, then finish with a practical next step or something to look forward to. Trying to solve every unresolved issue in one sitting usually makes the habit harder to repeat.

Frequency should fit the people involved. A short weekly check-in may work better than a formal monthly conversation, while busy periods may benefit from smaller daily questions instead.

Keep scores out of the conversation

WovenLoves uses XP, Gold and completion progress for playful motivation, but those mechanics are not a measure of who cares more. Shared progress should reward participation, never become evidence in an argument.

Compatibility signals and weekly summaries should also be treated as conversation starters rather than verdicts.

MORE THAN A QUESTION LIST

WovenLoves connects discovery to what happens next.

Questions can feed understanding. Games can add progress. Quests turn ideas into actions. Gold can build toward rewards the relationship defines. Private reflection stays separate from shared features unless a feature is allowed to use a derived signal.
